I love the flower shapes! My first time using it after a hot shower was divine. I loved mindfully holding the bar in my hands as if in invocation for its purpose and practice. Gliding the bar all over my body was a sacred union between me and the plant and bee divas. I would love to hear what your experience is like!
I've been deepening my skills into handcrafted herbal oils, body butter, and now lotion bars! in order to provide me and all my loved ones, including you! with higher healing quality products. In loving our bodies we want everything we put on and in our bodies to be as full of healing and wholeness as possible. Much of what’s out there is full of chemicals, even the natural stuff. What I've learned from Kami Mcbride takes my herbal products to another level. There are no essential oils in this body butter. The aroma is the pure essence of the whole plant. Essential oils are fine in limited use but a ton of the plant is used for very little essential oil. It’s wasteful and can be irritating and toxic to some. I love being able to smell the lavender in this more whole and natural form.
Lavender can be soothing for headaches, rub it on your temples and the back of your neck. It’s cooling. It can be good for joint pain. It can be good for sleeplessness. It’s good for restlessness. Lavender is restorative, healing herb. Lavender is rebuilding, for skin regeneration. Lavender can strengthen the nervous system.
Lavender, the root word, comes from the Latin, “lavae,” (phonetic) which means, “to wash.” There are lots of long-standing traditions of it being used for cleansing and purification to relax, clear and release.
It is calming, relaxing, and refreshing. It can evoke a calm and relaxed mood. It can help clear the mind.
Mango seed butter contains vitamins A, C, and E, all of which have proven antioxidant properties. It's excellent for skin that doesn't need a lot of extra moisture but can benefit from anti-aging properties.
Shea butter is one of the most well-known nut butter. It is rich in nutritious fatty acids, and it also has anti-inflammatory properties, ideal for damaged and irritated skin. It's also rich in vitamin E and can help fight the effects of aging.
Beeswax has been used topically on the skin since ancient Egyptian times and there are many good reasons why.
Beeswax can create a protective layer on the skin. It’s also a humectant, which means that it attracts water. Both of these qualities can help the skin stay hydrated. Beeswax is also a natural exfoliator, ideal for sloughing away dead skin cells.
By making beeswax into a lotion bar, it will work double-duty to keep your skin soft and hydrated.
*After hot shower while pores are wide open, caress in a light layer.
